I have had the pleasure of working with CJL International Inc. for the past 10 years. C.J.’s art has added a unique dimension to our special events. He captures the essence of the themes and conveys our message beautifully through his art.

As one of the responsible executives for the Macy’s East United Way Campaign. I was looking for something unique and inspiring to give as one of the awards. CJ Latimore, provide me with just that. Every one here at Macy who received this award was so excited to get this beautiful piece of art.

Brenda, Macy’s

“I asked C.J. to visit our property in N. Miami and design a mural which he believed would “speak to” our residents in this community. He came back with “The Playground”. Our residents, neighbors, politicians and neighborhood activists love this mural. It touches this community in many different ways. It speaks to our youth, our homes and our dreams. I believe C.J. Latimore has captured the spirit of the American Dream in this mural and inspires us onward in achieving our goals”

The use of the image created by C. J. Latimore contributed to the success of the Make a Difference recruitment campaign. The image was placed on over 100 billboards throughout Miami Dade County. Artist C. J. Latimore’s insight in creating this image was extremely innovative and enabled the Miami Police Department to attract qualified minority applicants to the position of police officer in a highly competitive job market.

Dear Mr. Latimore: Thank you for the beautiful commemorative medallion that you designed especially for the 93rd annual convention of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) held September 2004 in Long Beach, and hosted by the Port of Long Beach. The AAPA is a major trade association that represents more than 150 public port authorities in the United States, Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. Nearly 800 members from throughout the Western Hemisphere attended our highly successful convention. The special designed ChromaStone plate was a gift given to all attendees of the “Pacific Rim Gala” held at the Aquarium of the Pacific. There were over 600 in attendance to this event. Thank you, Mr. Latimore, for personally signing each gift plate. We received many favorable remarks on the one-of-a-kind gift.

Thank you again, Mr. Latimore, for making this event one that the Port of Long Beach will never forget.

Former Mayor Beverly O’Neill, Long Beach, California

C.J. developed a bookmark for the Long Beach Unified School District’s 2009 Most Inspiring Students award dinner that each winner received. The one of a kind bookmark depicted what it meant to the students as well as the school district to be chosen as most inspiring in the school.

Thanks again, C.J.
