The artfully situated portrait of H. Wayne Huizenga sets off the surrounding blue of the background that illuminates his many professional endeavors. He is the founder of Blockbuster Video, Waste Management, Inc. and AutoNation, he is also the former owner of three of Florida’s professional sports teams. The collage of artwork was created as a building dedication to the H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the only school with ‘entrepreneurship’ in its name.

When one enters into the Broward Public Library, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida one is immediately drawn to the stunning work of the 60,000 sq. ft. jewel of The Andrinka Tribute, which is etched in glass with symbols bridging the gap between the African cultures of the Zulu and Ashanti. Commissioned by the Broward Public Library, it was unveiled in the 2002 Grand Opening of African American Research Library and Cultural Center.

The artwork filled with blue and highlighted with a splash of pink setting off the full color image of Carl DeSantis, surrounded by his family and business associates. Carl DeSantis a principle investor of INB, and founder of Rexall, has over 18 years of experience in the retail drug business including Super-X and Walgreens. The H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship presented him this award during its dedication in 2004 at the Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.

Ones eye is drawn to the award in the lower center of the artwork, where Michael Maroone stands tall and proud at the center of this piece, surrounded in blue by his achievements in life. Forbes Magazine’s has twice nominated his company “AutoNation, Inc.” in the annual Top 500 companies in the US. This art piece was presented to the honoree Michael Maroone on his selection of being the 18th Entrepreneur Hall of Fame designee.

The crispness of the silver medallion encircles this beautiful piece of artwork that depicts eight different photographs of Long Beach Port, California. The sunset hues of color bring this artwork to earth with its layers of water and boats. The medallion was presented to Michael A. Leone, in front of the over 1,000 people who attended the 93rd annual conference in the 2004 American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA).

With an eye for details, this art piece with a blue memory background is entirely set off by the rich golden colors worn by Dr. William S. Spears. The art piece surrounds Dr. Spears with moments of his past that seem to encompass him warmly. The piece was created to pay tribute to Dr. Spears’ dedication of the three story courtyard atrium in the Rotunda Area at Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
